Still a favorite
I've recently been trying lots of different strings in the past year or so and I keep coming back to these XLs. They the the just the right tension and "feel" that I like. The price is right, the sound and feel is right, what more do ya want? I'm always trying different brands but I can always count on a set of XLs to fill the bill whatever the situation.

A Great Value
I really think these strings are a great value particularly in the Twin Packs. I like the way they sound and feel, and saving money by buying Twin Packs is a no brainer. Also, because they aren't expensive, I don't feel like I'm flushing money down the drain when I change strings. I will continue buying these Twin Packs.

excellent strings
I have been using steel roundwound strings for several years and decided to go back to using nickel. They are clear, bright, and slightly easier to play. I like that they are less ¨twangy¨ than the steel strings. They don´t eat up my fretless neck(ebony, no epoxy or finish)as quickly. I have tried many brands/types of strings and find the D´Addarios to be the best for me.

bassist
First of all, I'm more than happy with bassstringsonline service(shipping, handling). DAddario bass strings, as always, are the best one I ever played. Did try every brand(DR, Rotosound, Ernie Ball, GHS...) but DAddario is on the top.
