Cobalt bass strings
These strings have a very unique sound, bright but punchy. These strings are a good way to bring a dead and boring sounding bass back to life. They can be aggressive sounding but also full and round with the tone trimmed back and finger style closer to the neck. They made me want to pick up my jazz bass again and give my precision a run for its money! Thanks to Jason and the team for helping me with a replacement after I had an issue with my first order, you have definitely made a new fan out of me! Julian

Integrity in Tone!
After ten years my search is over! These strings give my bass a thick tone. They can be warm like nickel and also aggressive like stainless steel strings without the "string-to-fret noise" The made several of my basses sounded thick and rich almost like a keyboard bass tone. I played these strings for 41 days straight then took them off my bass and installed them on my friend's fender jazz bass and they sounded thicker with more integrity in tone then the D'addario Pro Steels which was his favorite strings. My friend is still using these cobalts on hai jazz for three weeks now. These strings are not as stiff as pro steels, but also not as soft as fatbeams. But guess what? I have just saved a brunch of money on bass strings, by switching to Ernie ball cobalts from! Economically - these strings are a better bargin because it's cheaper for me to buy a 6 string set of cobalts for $43 every 3 months than to buy 3 packs of DR Fatbeams for $35.00 each once per month. Do the math? I will demo these strings with my Brubaker 6 string bass on YouTube ASAP. Btw, the reason why I pay abit more at bassstringsonline is because I have to use the build your own set feature so I can have the gauges I like eg... 32-40-60-80-100-125 and 32-45-65-85-105-125 for my 6 string Brubaker bass.
