Love these strings. they sound great! Not as low and boomy as the Blacks, which is what I was looking. Feel like I have the best aspects of tapewounds without any drawbacks.

Love 'em!
I have been using and loving the LB DT black tapewounds on my G&L SB-2, so I got some of these copper white tapewounds to try on my EBMM Sterling 5H. The copper color looks great over my Baltic Amber pickguard! The sound of the strings is also great. They really tamed the zing and fret clank that I was getting with my previous strings (Circle K round wounds). The tapewounds have a nice full bottom with a pleasant, not harsh, high end. They feel great, too. The tension feels higher than my Circle Ks and I like it. The B string is nice and tight. Not TOO tight, but just right. Not floppy at all.

La Bella Copper White Nylon (light gauge 5-string set)
I waited almost three months for these strings because LaBella only makes them to order, but it was well worth the wait. I have a custom Linc Luthier bass that had never found the perfect set of strings until now. These strings are wonderful on that bass. Before I tried these strings every set of strings sounded very metallic. These strings helped to reduce that sound, while also imparting a great acoustic tone to the instrument. The light gauge strings are the same diameter as my medium gauge DRs, but they have a lighter tension. If you want strings that are more flexible I'd go with the light gauge, the standard gauge is liable to be much tighter. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these for any bass, but for semi-acoustic or acoustic instruments these strings are great!

Nylon tapes first timer
Highly recommended. I went with these because they've been described as warmer sounding than standard tapes, and I had been wanting a more old school/vintage tone as well. These fit the bill, but they also have a lot of tonal characteristic with roundwounds. For e.g. you can play bloody Metallica with them! Next moment you can thump about soul, r&b, whatever. I dunno how they did it, man...
