Rotosound Swing Bass 66 Electric Bass Strings are Rotosounds most popular Roundwound bass string.  Rotosound first introduced this type of string in 1962 and it changed the sound of the electric bass instantly.  Rotosound Swing Bass 66 strings are available in many gauges and scale lengths.  Rotosound uses unique steel combined with a highly secretive manufacturing process in the making of Swing Bass 66 strings.

Resonant tone, great feel, long life bass strings
These stainless steel round-wound strings feel great and have a clean yet deep midrange dominant punchy tone. They are not too sparkly like D'Addarios or too deep like the DR low riders. They don't seem to chew up my frets either. I have been playing these for more than ten years and have never been dissapointed. Consistant, quality strings.

Awesome on my Electra Outlaw
I was looking for a string that would get me the old Chris Squire tone and this is the one. Lows to highs, great definition and playability. You cannot go wrong with these.

These strings got a good feel to them. Although steel strings have been known to be rough on fingers these feel pretty nice and are in my comfort zone along with a nice tension. I'm no expert being into bass for a little over a year now but these strings are worth the money, especially for rock and metal tones.

Descent strings
These strings have quite good tone, so no problem there. The reason I don't use them is because they started to unwind on one end of the bass, and they came loose several times while in the gig-bag. So I would recommend strings with strings without the fabric on the end if you're using standard ultra-light tuners.
